On Friday, Nov. 9, start your Christmas shopping at Superstition Mountain museum and shop a freat selection of gift items in the museum gift shop including pottery, Ironwood carvings and DeGrazia prints ready for framing.
This is the kickoff of Superstition Holidays,” a month-long extravaganza of decorations and events that will begin the day after Thanksgiving at Superstition Mountain Museum, highlighted by our annual Holiday Boutiques on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 30-Dec 1.
The 15-acre museum site will be full of Christmas decorations and attractions appealing to both adults and children. Enjoy a magical step back in time surrounded by the old-fashioned Christmas decorations in the Apacheland Barn and the Elvis Chapel. Take advantage of photo niches set up for grabbing holiday photos. View the huge model train exhibit which takes viewers on a journey through the historic Southwest.
Pa the Hot Dog Lady will be selling her delicious hot dogs off the East side of Museum.
In the spirit of holiday giving, visitors are also being asked to bring a new toy or clothing item for the museum’s charity drive benefiting the Community Alliance Against Family Abuse (CAAFA).
