Blue Icon Petroglyph Man - Classes Event Upcoming Classes

Our 2017/2018 season’s class highlights include the ever-popular Flintknapping, Desert Safety, and Dutch Oven Cooking classes; in addition to the Richin’s popular Dutch Oven Cooking Demonstration, this year they will also be offering a Hands-on Dutch Oven Cooking Class. Last year’s Navajo Weaving class by “Arizona Treasure” Navajo weaver and storyteller Nanabah Aragon was so popular we brought her back for three two-day classes this year. Natalija Kyle, clinical herbalist and Holistic Healthcare Practioner, is coming back after a year’s absence to present classes on Herbal Medicine, Kitchen Medicine, and Native Medicinal Plants. Joining us for the first time this year will be noted author Dennis Ellington with his Plant Talk entitled “What’s Fer Dinner” and his Plant Walk on the Museum grounds where he points out where he identifies several “Wild edible and Medicinal Plants of the Old West”.
