Lecture – Phil Reinhardt – The Peralta Stones

Pink Icon Man - Lecture Event Date(s): 01/19/2017     Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The mysterious and controversial Peralta Stone Maps, currently on display in the museum gallery, are one of the most hotly-debated topics associated with the Superstition Mountains and lost treasure.

Phil Reinhardt, Peralta Stone MapsPhil Reinhardt, a long time Arizona miner and one time subject of Paul Harvey’s “The Rest of the Story” radio show, has written and lectured about the Peralta Stones and their cryptic meanings since 2008 when he and his partner, Rick Gwynne, were able to follow the maps to the end of the trail. “It would be easy to disregard the historical significance of such a set of maps, leading to a distant place of such importance that the maps were carved in stone, especially if you didn’t understand them,” says Phil.

Hear Phil’s interpretation of the purported only known set of stone maps to exist in the world and decide for yourself: elaborate hoax or priceless artifacts?

The lecture begins at 2:00. Bring your lawn chairs, as seating for this event fills up fast.
