Movies at the Museum – Powderkeg
The Cool Classic Western Movie this week is the 1971 Classic Powder Keg, starring
Rod Taylor, Dennis Cole, and Fernando Lamas.
A lighthearted adventure in the pre-World War I West with Rod Taylor and Dennis Cole playing a pair of troubleshooters hired to retrieve a hijacked train.
The movie is preceded by an episode of the one-half hour television show The Cisco Kid starring Duncan Renaldo. The Cisco Kid and his sidekick Pancho, played by Leo Carillo, follow in the footsteps of The Lone Ranger by fighting injustice in the Old West.
Movies at the the Museum are free to the public, with donations gratefully accepted, and will be shown in the air-conditioned Elvis Chapel. Refreshments are available in Charlie’s General Store, located in the Apacheland Barn. Visitors are encouraged to come early as seating in the Chapel is limited.
