Today’s movie, the eight and final movie in our First Annual Movies at the Museum series featuring Olde-Tyme Classic Western movies is the 1971 Clint Walker favorite “Yuma“, in which Walker plays a former U.S. Army lieutenant who is appointed U.S. Marshal for the lawless town of Yuma, Arizona.
The movie is preceded by the 12th and final installment of the Rin Tin Tin serial “The Lone Defender“, in which our canine hero is caught in the middle of a fight between the bad guys and the good guys over a secret gold mine that was owned by the dog’s late owner.
Movies at the the Museum are free to the public, with donations gratefully accepted, and will be shown in the air-conditioned Elvis Chapel. Refreshments will be available in Charlie’s General Store located in the Apacheland Barn. Visitors are encouraged to come early as seating in the Chapel is limited.
