Local Authors and Artists invade the museum grounds
On Saturday, Feb 16th, from 9 to 4, Local authors and artists whose work features the Superstition Mountains, the Apache Junction area, or the Central Arizona Desert, or the Southwest and its culture, nature and history will be set up on the patio and grounds to display, talk about, and sell their books and artworks. This event is free to the public.
Over 20 local authors will be participating, including:

In addition to the authors, a number of local artists and crafters will be on the grounds selling their unique creations, which will include, jewelry, paintings, wind chimes, and lariat baskets.
The big trains will be running form 10-2 and the Stamp Mill will run at 11:00.
Refreshments will be available in the General Store and from Pat’s Hot dogs.
Buy a raffle ticket! As a Self-supporting organization that receives no federal, state, or local funding, we rely on revenues generated by our gift shops, events, and fundraisers. As one of our fundraisers, at each of our art events we raffle off art and craft items donated by our artists. Raffle tickets are priced at 1 for $1, or 6 for $5. Winning tickets are drawn from tickets sold that day. Winner must be present to win.
You can also Participate in our season-long 50/50 cash raffle. At our last lecture on April 4th, a lucky winner will be drawn to win half the cash collected from this raffle.

Application forms for Artist & Crafter space at this event is available online (below) and are also available in the Museum Store. Choose to complete most of the form online, then print and sign, or just print out the blank form, and complete/sign it by hand.
Please NOTE: only non-functional, non-utilitarian artwork will be allowed into this show; no jewelry will be allowed, and photography booths will be limited and will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
