Free Movies Shown at Superstition Mountain Museum this Summer
Enjoy ‘Olde Tyme Cool Comedies’ in Air-Conditioned Chapel
Laugh at the heat! Return to those thrilling days of yesteryear and beat the heat this summer by planning to attend free weekly showings of classic comedy movies in the air-conditioned Elvis Chapel at the Superstition Mountain Museum, 4087 N Apache Trail (SR 88).
At 1 p.m., on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons in June and July, “Olde Tyme Cool Comedies,” many of which are classics, will be shown, free to the public. The cool matinees will run twice weekly from June 5 through July 28. A comedy short will precede each matinee feature.
Kicking off the series will be the movie classic “Charade” starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn on Tuesday, June 5, and Saturday, June 9.
For those who like to eat their way through movies, snacks, including popcorn, candy bars, ice cream and soda, will be available for purchase in Charlie’s General Store in the barn.
